“Our fire company was recently given the opportunity from our carnival company to have a second carnival this year when they had a spot open up. We have graciously accepted their offer and a second carnival will take place starting Wednesday, September 4th and running through Saturday, September 7th. It will open up at 6pm and typically run until 10pm. On the weekend and if crowds are still present, staying open until 11pm will occur. Armbands are still $20 per person for unlimited rides. It will be in the same place, the Old Advance Lot, in downtown Waynesboro. (215 W. Main St. Waynesboro, VA 22980 for anyone not local.) We appreciate the City of Waynesboro accommodating our fire company. The only sad news is that some of our members will be unable to attend due to not being able to take off from work anymore and because of already scheduled vacations. Sadly, that does mean no Bingo and no fire company made food. However, funnel cakes will still be freshly made by our carnival company each night. This event still greatly benefits our fire company and we, as always, appreciate your unwavering support of what we do.
